Did you grow up conservative evangelical or some other fundamentalist form of religion and found yourself deconstructing everything you’ve ever believed?
Are you parents who have done the above and have no idea how to raise your kids with values you didn’t grow up with?
Do you stand for justice and equality and liberation for all and want to learn more about how to make the world a better, more kind place?
Yeah, me too.
I was born into an irreligious home, but was sent to a school for missionary children here in Taiwan where I converted and spent my formative years in conservative evangelicalism. My evangelical cred. includes missionary school, Wheaton College (where Billy Graham attended), Seminary, and a full time career in missions.
And then I faith shifted.
And I became a parent to two children (& a dog).
If you, like me, feel like you’re floundering in your faith shifting, lonely and isolated, either closeted and ostracized from your faith community—the good news is first, you’re not alone. Second, the exciting thing about living in these tensions is that we get to create the life we want to live.
A life with renewed purpose, healthy spirituality, embodied values, meaningful connection with others, and hope for a more just future.
I write, speak, podcast, and build community surrounding faith shifting issues and anxieties. I want to build the world I want to live in—together, with you.
